Merlot

It's only $5, so my expectations weren't high. Nose smells of alcohol and soft hints of dark fruit. The palate starts with a collision & confusion of flavors, with the aftertaste making me raise my eyebrows. It ended with a very peppery note. I didn't have a second glass.
